Question Old Brinks Alarms system

I purchased a house with a Brinks alarm system. The system works fine! I have disconnected it from the monitoring station, so I am paying them no fee!

Does anyone know how to reprogram codes into the keypad? I have not been able to find anything relative to this question. I have even called Brinks and of course, for the price of a service call they will be glad to have a service tech come out and give me the information. What a crock!!! I know that Brinks doesn't make the equipment. I do have the Master code and I am an electrical contractor so I know how to work with the system but, without this specific information I can't change the user codes in the system and really need to do so. The code is the same one the old owners used.....NO not that stupid!!! I did change the locks.

Any help at all will be greatly appreciated

brinks alarm

give me the manufacturer of the control panel and model of the control. This can be found by opening the control door of the main control panel(not the keypad)

Thanks for the response, Alarm Guy!!

It is a DSS-670US.... Those are the only numbers I can find on the thing other than a lot of brinks propaganda. I have tried researching it on the internet and run into a lot of dead ends.

The little bit I did find seemed to indicate that the unit was manufactured by Digital Security Systems. When I tried to look them up all I could find was info that didn't deal with alarms at all.

Any help that you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
