DSC 1500 programming manual
I'm looking for the programming and installation manual for the DSC 1500 alarm.
I would like to change the entry/exit timeouts.

hsam, I'm assuming you have the installer code. If not, you will have to default the panel to change the entry/exit times. And even then the panel may be locked-out completely. In that case, you will not be able to enter programming. I do have an installation and programming manual for the 1500. If you would like it, either e-mail me or post ur e-mail here.

For a DSC you have to have the Installer Code to change any system programming, or be able to default the panel (which is not always possible - the system could be locked-out, in which case more steps are required to unlock it.)

Ok, thats what I thought.
I was just going to try with the master code, but I would imagine the dealer code would be longer than 4 numbers. I was hoping it was the same, at least thats what I asked for, but not sure if thats what they did. I really don't know.
I guess I'll have to make a call and find out, I just wanted to try on my own before I called for service...I just don't like having to call for such a trivial thing

Came across this post regarding the installation manual for the DSC1500, any body able to forward me a copy of that?
We've just recently aquired a DSC 1500 system and want to install it at our office!

This is an older panel. Do a websearch for "DSC PC1500 programming manual". There's pretty good odds that someone's got it posted for free, at most they'll charge a nominal charge (bandwidth and storage isn't free, you know).
