RJ31X phone jack
Where can I buy an RJ31X phone jack. Went to Home Depot and there's lots of phone jacks that kind of look like an RJ31X but I don't think it is (they don't connect the in-out phone lines together when the jack is removed). Are these RJ31X only sold at speciality stores (i.e. alarm stores)?

I've only bought them through alarm distributors, so I'm not real sure, but I think you can get them at Radio Shack. You are right about the part, it is an RJ31X, don't buy anything else, it probably won't work. If you can't find them, let me know, I have hundreds of them, I could send COD for about $5 I would think, but I'd have to check.
