Question Monitoring: SmartHome or Safe-Mart/ Ocusafe ??

Hello everyone.

I am new to this forum. My insurance company is requiring that I install a central station alarm system, so I'm doing some research.
I am considering getting the Simon III control system. However, I still haven't decided on the monitoring company. The ones that I have found so far are SmartHome:
http://www.smarthome.com/alarm.html for $8.95/month + $35 setup fee
and Safe-Mart (aka Ocusafe):
http://www.safe-mart.com/24hrmo.html for $9/month with no setup fees.

Has anyone heard of Safe-Mart / Ocusafe? I'd like to go with them if they have a good track record.

Thanks!

Smarthome is supposed to be good - however, it's not Smarthome monitoring - they contract out. I do disagree with paying for a year up front - what if you're not satisfied?

Never heard of the other guys.

Good luck!

NextAlarm monitoring company

Thank you SafeWatch.

I found another alarm monitoring company called NextAlarm (http://www.nextalarm.com). It's $8.95/month and there is no connection fee. They also offer the first 2 months for free. I think I'll go with them, unless I hear negative comments about them.

I just bought an ITI Simon 3 wireless system on eBay. I hope it's a good system!
