Trouble DSC PC5508Z with POWER 632/PC155MX
#1

Hi,
I have a DSC-PC5508Z with DCS -POWER 632/PC1555MX.
I changed the password and not sure if I pressed some wrong buttons, but I get the trouble LED stay on.
I tried to decode it and it seems to point to the LED 4, and if I am reading it right that is a "Failure to Communicate" error.
Do anyone of you know what is wrong?
FYI,
This is not currently monitored, the last owner of the house may have it monitored before.
However it seemed to work before I changed the passwrod and seems to work after I changed password . But the Trouble LED stays on.

1555 mx communication error
#1 check to see if the user code works disregard the trouble for this.
arm the system and then disarm it. if it works go to the next step.
#2 Do you have an installers manual? if you are not going to have it monitored you need to go to the installer options and disable the communications and you should take out all reporting codes and phone numbers. The trouble means it is trying to communicate with a central station and not getting through. I will check back tomorrow to see how you are doing.

It's not very obvious. Go to section 380 and turn off option 1. This kills the Dialer. Go to Section 15 and turn off option 7. This stops monitoring for a live phone line. This should be enough, but I'd also go to sections 301-303 and make sure that all phone number entrys are all Fs.
