Powerwave-4 alarm system
#1

I have a Powerwave alarm system and I cannot reset the installer code. I need to make some changes to the delay time for entering the user code when I try to deactivate the system.I also need it to deactivate the "fax defeat" feature. It intercepts all my incoming cals after 3 rings. If anyone can help, please help me. I have detailed description of the mainboard, it's features, but nowhere are given info how to reset the master code.

I've never worked with this panel, but this is the "backdoor" from the installer manual:
ACCESS TO PROGRAMMING ON POWER UP (INSTALLER MODE)
When power is applied to the controller for the first time, with the panel tamper input open, the panel will inhibit tamper alarms and ready the panel to enter INSTALLER PROGRAM Mode (unless the Installer Lock-out option P170E2E has previously been enabled). At this point you can go to any keypad which is connected to the panel and press “PROGRAM” “ENTER” which will automatically put that keypad into full Program mode, Program LED Flashing. (NOTE: Only one keypad can be in Program mode at any time)
The manual you linked is the User programming manual. You want this one as well: http://www.thecrowgroup.com/support/...uide_V8.69.pdf
