have prime security system in ford van, will not start all a sudden, is this thing wired into fuel system,no power to fuel pump.checked most possibly cause for no juice every thing ok, any ideals on this

I just moved into a house (famliliar situation around here) and I found a manual for the alarm system. The manual is the VIA-30Pse, however the system is wireless and the only panel looks exactly like the 6128RF. The panel is wired into the system, but every sensor is wireless I believe. As far as I know, there are 3 doors and 1 motion, but I don't know if any windows are on the system. I'm guessing no since I can't find any sensors, but I wouldn't mind adding some. BACKGROUND: I couldn't get in contact w\ the previous owner (surprise), so I powered down the system and retrieved the installer code as per the instructions in previous threads. I can panic the system, however it does not recognize any of the sensors. When it came back on-line, it had "dR" (I think) on the screen. It recognized the sensors before I power cycled the system because the "Ready" light would turn off when they were tripped. I have downloaded the manual for the 6128RF and have looked through the VIA-30Pse manual, but I'm not getting the proper response from the panel. I try to enter the programming mode via pressing "1 and 3" but instead of giving me the option to enter the keypad address (cA), reciever address (rA), etc., it just says "31." I can change the number and it gets mad. Do I need to program the sensors manually, or can I use the "Sniffer" function, or am I just an idiot? The process makes no sense to me since I'm not getting the response from the keypad that the manuals say that I should expect. I have worked on this for hours and now I'm afraid that I have inadvertantly changed a bunch of settings. What in the world should I do now?! :wall:
