Sensor Compatability

I would like to know if the wireless sensors that are used in SX-V systems are compatible with ITI Caretaker Plus systems. Yes, no? TIA

I think that they are. They list a part number of 60-135 and 60-151, which I think uses the same frequency (319mhz).

the easiest way to tell is to open up a sensor. If it has a 5 pin connecter in the center of board no they are not compatible

Maybe I should have put it this way:

If a system is 319.5mhz does that mean that any sensor on 319.5 will work?

no, there was an sxv that could use the learn mode sensors. 90% could not they are both 319.5 mhz but if you open the sensor and it has a port to plug into they will not work with the caretaker plus It uses learnmode sensors exclusively. If your sensors have the port they will not work. If you search on ebay(not trying to sell anything just advice) you can find them fairly cheap. Saw sensors will not work. The caretaker plus is a good system. So no need to upgrade the panel until it is nessacery(spelling?) when it dies anyexisting sensors will work with the concord or ultra guard series.

That's some great info, thanks! I'm filing it away with my other documentation.
