Simon 3 vs Concord Express or Ultra

I have narrowed my Home Security system down to a Simon 3 or Concord Express or Ultra system. Which system is best based on my requirements? I plan on wireless monitoring 3 exterior doors and use one motion detector. I also plan on having a local company provide monitoring services. I want a system that isn't inclined to give false alarms whenever a thunderstorm passes through.

Thanks,
BertMan

Bertman,

All systems are pretty much the same, all are inclined to go off in a
thunderstorm, if lightening gets close enough to cause an electomagnetic pulse.

The Concords have more options that can allow you to expand your system down the line. For anything more than an apartment or very small house, I'd go that route rather than the Simon. For one thing, the zone setup options are wider. If you have no way to run wiring for the keypad(s), then go with the Simon. The only thing you need to run for it is power and telco.

Mike's right, though, alarms are electonic devices, and thunderstorms can be an issue, but most modern wireless systems are pretty good at electrical noise rejection.
