Adding a wireless keypad for Ademco Vista-15P

Hi,

I'm new to home security and automation. An ADT dealer installed
a vista 15P security system. It has both wireless and wired zones
(sensors). I like to know if that system can accept a second keypad
which is wireless. I'm looking at the Ademco wireless keypad
mode 5827. Do I need to buy anything other than the keypad itself?.
The Ademco website is not helpful enough to say whether and how
to install this keypad.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Ansari

Found the configuration guide. But still have one question

Thanks to Google. I was able to find the configuration manual that has
information how I can integrate wireless keypad with Vista-15P. But, one
critical information is that the keypad has to configure the "Home ID" on
the wireless pad. So, the question is how can I find the "home id" currently
assigned. I can guess that I can get it from the wired keypad but, I dont
know what key combination will show me the "home id". There are some
references that say I have to press "#26" to get it, can some body confirm
or correct this information?

Thanks,
Ansari

The house ID is set in *24. You input the number there, and set the keypad to match.

The only other caution, is if you get the 5827BD keypad, your reciever needs to be one of the bi-directional models. The plain 5827 doesn't need this.
