installer code and master code

can't find installer code and/or master code or default code
i have unfortunately been assigned to modify an existing alarm. i have been unable to find the installer code or master code for the system. any assistance or advice would be much appreciated. the panel is a HONEYWELL 5700.......... the keypad is a HONEYWELL D540. PLEASE HELP!!!!!
i have tried powering off and on, still no luck.

Honeywell Default Code ?
i am trying to access the system in order to install a user code and change the zones. i have no literature from which to work. the panel is a HONEYWELL 5700, the keypad is a Honeywell D540.

radionics programmer
thank you for your help. i'm going to search the web for that programmer. i'm not sure what you meant by a handler though. i appreciate all of the help i can get.

that programmer uses files called handlers like 5700b is a handler. unless the programmer came from honeywell or you have access to a programmer to copy the handler from they are difficult to obtain. most programmer will have the standard radionics panels only i.e. 7412 or 8112 etc

I think that this system was from the era before Honeywell aquired Ademco and it's technology. The Honeywell label was put on hardware designed by Radionic and the programming customized.
My recommendation with older Radionic technology and it's clones: They are not really DIY friendly. Radionic/Bosch is pretty tight with information, and the correct tools to do the job are hard to come across. You will come out _much_ better by installing a modern system on the existing wiring.
