Ok got my 2 433mhz wireless door window sensors programed in (using the serial numbers) in zones 10 and 11. How do I get these attributes or what ever on so the unit will detect these 2 new sensors, and also, how do I make sure I did not mess any other sensors up in the meantime as I did make a few mistakes and # out of the programing mode before I completed the one time, but did not # out before I made the last mistake. I just did not want to screw anything else up as the system was working flawlessly before I put these in. I just want to get these 2 new wireless sensors working and make sure I did not screw anything else up in the mean time. Do know that I opened all doors and windows, and tested my motions all by taking them off the back plates, and the system acknowledged them all except my daughters window which I could not try because she is sleeping, but am sure it is ok too. Does this mean I am in the clear for screwing anything up, and how do I get these other two sensors recognized? Thanks guys

hello folks . im new to this alarm stuff. i used to work for sears and took care of the radionics alarm systems in the stores, but that was back in 1996. now im an auto mechanic. ANYWAY. i bought a dsc 832 on ebay to update my old detection systems circa 1980 system( hey it came with the house 4 yrs ago). wiring done no problem. programming well i have pulled some hair and ticked off the wife with all that beeping. heres the system 832 system (5010 board) v2.0 2 lcd 5500 alpha keypads (1 2nd floor) the other side door 1st floor v3.14 5504 power module (runs the circa 1980 siren driver module 1.2amps 2 sirens 1 inside 1 outside) on output 1 coming in the mail 1 wireless reciever w/2 keyfobs pc link programming id like to thank ebay for all the above items by the way heres the problem upstairs keypad fine no issues, downstairs keypad seems to go in to limbo and has no responce. when i open the door no beep( but i hear the upstairs beep). when i press a key it says press(*) for <> SYSTEM when i scroll it says PARTITION 2 i have programmed the system for zones 1-5 partition 1 z1 delay z2-z5 instant when the 1st floor key pad is in "limbo" only the trouble light is lit, the 2nd floor has "ready" and Trouble" lit. no active zones either i hope some body can help me thru this one heres some more info if i select "system" then the key pad will respond for about 30 seconds after that it just goes to time and date . next issue General system tamper shows up as a service required. how in the world do i clear this??? sorry about this when i get the reciever for the keyfobs is there going to be any crazy info i should know to set this up . i know i will have to hook up the keybus. anything else. sorry to make this sooo long but i wanted to be clear and not leave out any details thnak you vince (email address removed to protect from spambots per forum rules -- Mod.)
