DSC 1555 Pager Alarm Codes
Using the help from the web I have set up my DSC 1555 to dial my cell phone if there is an alarm. I just got a call from my home while I was there and there was no alarm. I didn't take the time to set up the proper delays so it will send the alarm code. I have corrected that and just done a system test and received a text message with the alarm code 0976, now I need to find something to decipher the codes I am getting. I assume that is just the system test code. But I need to know how to decipher it if I get a call while at work I will know what kind of alarm is triggered before calling the cops and racing home to find out I forgot to bypass the motion sensor and the cat triggered the alarm.
Was also wondering if there was a way I could disable the audible siren to make it a silent alarm? Got a psycho ex and if she tries to break in would be nice if she was still there when the cops show up.
Thanks..
Dave

Basically, it sends whatever codes are programmed into the panel:
The panel will transmit the 2-digit reporting code programmed. There are no special
requirements, any 2-digit number can be programmed for any event. A simple pattern should be
used (i.e. code [21] for opening by user 1, [22] for user 2 etc…).
Program the reporting codes required in Section [320] to [353].
