DSC 1565 installation manual needed

DSC 1565 installation manual needed

I recently moved to a new house where a DSC1565 alarm system has been installed. Unfortunately the owner has lost the original manual and we desperately want to reactivate the system. I was not even given the password to use the system :-<

The system is called DSC1565 and the control panel, I think, is 5508Z. It is relatively new as the house is only 1 year old. I know quite a bit of alarm systems myself. I do have some experience in reseting alarm systems for my friends who moved to houses with alarm systems installed. To do it myself, I have downloaded the user manual but unable to get the installation manual. Is there anyone who has the installation manual (in electronic form) or knows where I can get one?

Fire Sensor - 135 degrees needed

We have both smoke and fire sensors in our home. The fire sensors tie into the central station. One of the fire sensors failed. It appears to have a small dent in it. They are about 1 1/2" in diameter and have two double screw terminals on the back. The unit is about 1" thick. They are normally open and close on 135 degrees heat. I need to find a source for these for replacement. They are 30 years old and now I do not trust them after the alarm today. It was lucky we were home so we did not bother the fire dept. Lucky. Anyone know a source for the devices? Thanks

5010 LED ON after program

Hi, I have reset the panel to default and programmed as the follow instructions "from a thread". After the program finished all LED lights are on and it's not in ready state. I have checked at the panel all zones are 0V. "closed" Please helps I am new to this. Thanks in advance.
