How can I disable communication on the pc5508z? I need to use the system as a stand alone for a while and need to stop the chirping. Thanks

My back gate is out of my line of sight and I want to rig up some type of announcement bell for when folks pull up to the driveway. I prefer something that will alert me to when someone simply drives up, rather than a manual doorbell-type bell. I was thinking of even the kind of bell that gas stations use when you drive up to the pump. I guess that's air-driven, but I'm concerned I may not hear it ring when I am in the house. It's about 125 ft. from the back gate to the house, but only about 50 ft. from my outdoor breaker box. With wire so expensive these days, I'm looking for a budget solution. Doesn't have to be high-tech. I'm out in the country and efficiency is more important than aesthetics. Thanks so much for the help!
