entry delay dscc 1555

just bought this house, based on all the info here I was able to reset the system so i have access now. (I did a full reset because the system was original hooked up to ADT and last night in the middle of the night the damn beeping because it couldnt control the central system so i decided to fix it.)

I have
1 wireless front door
2 garage door entry to the house
3 backdoor wireless
4 glass break
5 motion senseor

originally (before I had access) the 101 profile was set to

01 03 03 03 05 00 00 00

ever since the reset the entry delay dont work.

I want the garage door to have a entry delay too so I tried

*8(installcode) 101 01 03 03 05 00 00 00

didnt work,
*8(installcode) 101 01 02 03 03 05 00 00 00
didnt work

then I tried to set the delay entry times

*8 installcode 500 030 030 (for 30 seconds on delay 1)
*8 installcode 500 045 030 (for 30 seconds delay on 2)

but still when I arm the system and open the door the alarm goes off immidiately, any advise?

Thanks

Ok, I'm not sure where you are getting the section numbers you are trying to program, but you are punching numbers into very much the wrong locations.

Section 101 alters the advanced zone attributes for zone 1.

What you should have done was go to program then enter:
001 01 01 03 03 05 00 00 00
101 attributes 1 2 3 4 6 & 8 should be on(attribute 8 enables wireless)
103 attributes 1 2 3 4 6 & 8 should be on

The actual delay timing is set in section 005
(example: for 30sec entry and 60sec exit with 5 minute bell time out: 005 030 045 060 005)

entry delay

I might have messed up when I wrote my first post

the 101 and 103 are correct

I entered exactly what you put in 001

then I entered the entry and exit delays in 005

I arm the system ( i did set it that as soon as a entry/exit door is open closed to terminate countdown and activate immediately)

anyway, the moment i open the door the sirene is going off, no delay whatsoever

think I got it

I disabled the exit delay termination (I think 014 7 ) that when you open and close a entry/exit door it will enable immediately and I think the delay is working now.

Good to go, without dialing to ADT any more.

It is possible to let it dial my cell phone right?

Yes, you use the Pager protocal for the panel dialer. Unless your phone service has a pager service as part of the phone service, the best you can do is have your house number show up on the cell's caller ID.
