Trying to program 2 ws4939 into rf5501-433

I have my dsc 1555 working good with my six hard wired zones, no problem. I just got to ws4939's that i am trying to setup with no luck. My esn's on the back of the remotes have a letter "C" in them. I have not seen that any where in reading through the post so i dont know if that is an issue or not. Or if I should put a 0 before the numbers and leave out the C or is the C a 2??? To be a little clearer if someone could tell the sequence and what to enter so they will work. Of course I read the directions but that did not work out to well.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Warren

That's a hexidecimal "C" (12). You have to look at the "how to program" instructions in the panel installer manual:

"4.3 Programming HEX Data
On occasion, hexadecimal (HEX) digits may be required. To
program a HEX digit press the[*] key. The panel will enter
HEX programming and Ready light will begin to flash.
The following are the numbers which should be pressed to
enter the appropriate HEX digit:
1 = A 2 = B 3 = C 4 = D 5 = E 6 = F
Once the correct HEX digit has been entered, the Ready light
will continue to flash. If another HEX digit is required, press the
corresponding number. If a decimal digit is required, press the[*] key again. The Ready light will turn on and the panel will
return to regular decimal programming."

You get this to work I think I'm seeing the same issue with the sequence.
