Angry safewatch pro 2000 help

I have 2 control panels, one works fine the other is not. The bad one's keys are lit up and the red light over armed is constantly on. The LCD screen is a dark green. The keys do not make any beeping noises when pushed. I have tried to turn off the main board by unplugging the power cord and disconnecting the back up battery while waiting about 30mins before replugging everything in. But the control panel still does the same thing???? I think that it is not getting full power maybe? I noticed the working control panel shows a "a/c" in the top right corner of the lcd screen. Anyone know why this control panel would be acting this way? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Check the connections on the back of the keypad. If those are good, power down the system and swap the keypads (most models have a connector plug on the back). If the good keypad works at the other location, and the other still doesn't work, then the problem is a bad keypad. If the good keypad doesn't work in the second location, then you may have a problem with the wiring between the keypad location and the motherboard in the control.

These things can fail abruptly. The laws of thermodynamics still apply.
