PIR won't chime

Vista 20P panel, Ademco PIR wired with an EOLR and programmed as a follower type zone.

As far as I can tell the PIR is wired correctly and I can walk-test it using the LED, but when I put the panel in chime mode it won't chime. Are interior follower zones supposed to chime?

My door and window contacts work fine when I test them (on another zone).

No, it should not chime. This would be extremely annoying because some people keep there system in chime mode to alert of a open door/window. Having the system chime everytime someone walked through the room would be crazy.

You can test the PIR by keeping all the other zones closed and have someone walk through the room. You will notice the "Not Ready" come up on the keypad when PIR is working properly.
