Ademco 4110XM Programming

I recently completed a major home renovation and installed an 11 year old 4110 system I had in storage. All is working well.

Now I would like to program the system to dial my cell phone on an alarm event. My instruction manual does not provide the programming code to perform this. In addition, I was hoping I could set the string to contain *82 to unblock my caller ID to make the call to my cell unique.

I appreciate any help with this!!

Yes, for reasons unknown, the programming form is a seperate publication from the installer manual for this model.

To do what you want: (in program mode)
Remove any phone number programmed in *41 by keying in *41*
Program the cell number in the secondary slot:
*42 + #11 + 82 + #13 + [7-digit phone number] + *
Next *43 + [last 4 digits of house address] (this takes place of the account number. Some panels won't dial out without an entry in this slot)
next *44 +7 (Contact ID format)
next *45 + 1 (tone dialing)
next *49 + 7 (split report with secondary as pager)
*99 to exit programming

If all of the zones are already programmed to report from before, that should be all you need.

Thanks Ron.

Another question, how do I enter "1 and area code" to my 7 digit phone number?

Thanks,

Bill

There, you have a problem:

The dialer programming on this system only takes 12 characters. The Caller ID cancel and needed pause eat up 4, only leaving 8 digits for the phone number. If you can do without the caller ID cancel, then you simply enter the 11 digits for the phone number followed by *; but you don't get to use the caller ID cancel. (these are features that didn't really exist when this thing was designed).
