How to Delete Zones

Unhappy How to Delete Zones

i want to delete 2 zones from my admeco (honeywell) vista 12.

can someone pls help, how can i do this. i am fimiliar with programming but could not figure it out how to get rid of these 2 zones form system.

i have disconnected them and both waires are disconnected from pannel as well.

i have tried to restart few times completely from battery, too. but it is not able to go in Ready , it says not ready and then zone 5, 6.

Instead of trying

to delete them from the programming, why not just use a jumper wire right at the alarm panel to disable these zones? A short piece of wire from the common to each zone.

This way the system will think they're constantly closed.

If a jumper wire doesn't work, you may need to connect a resisitor to the zones instead. The exact value will vary between different makers and models though.

strobe temper connection?

can someone plz tell me where should i connect temper connection from external strobe/siren in vista12 pannel.

would it connect as a seperate zone? or in some other way, thanks.

I take it you mean tamper. The tamper is optional, and if you choose to use it you will need to kook it to an empty zone on the control panel.
