GE Concord 4: Configuring Alarm Monitoring Services

Hi,
I successfully set up and configured the Concord 4. I tested out all the sensor, partitions, and modes to determine they work correctly. In addition, I set up phone access.

I would now like to setup an alarm monitoring service such as the one offered by Safemart:
http://www.safemart.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=5832

I have two questions:

1. How do I test to make sure that the phone line working correctly
2. Do I need to know any special info/ instructions before signing up for the service.

thanks!

The only way to truelly test the communications portion is to sign up for the monitoring, and test it that way.

I've been using WatchLight Alarm Co. for a few years and love them. I think I heard about them through smarthome.com or somewhere like that.

I only pay $8.95/month.

When you sign up for monitoring, they are going to either give you their programming info (customer #, tele #, etc) or they are going to dial into your system and upload it to your panel.
