I have a safewatch 3000 (ademco 20P) with a wireless 5882 that I am preparing to install. When I originally came in to possesion of was set up with a 5816, a 5890, a 5853, A 7845cz, a RX7, and a 6150. I have since aquired a 6160c, a 5890, four more 5816's, a Napco GEM-PIR, a Sentrol AP950W, four GEM-TRANS2, and four Sentrol BB-2's. I may be getting a number of silent night four wire smoke and heat detectors(I believe they are system sensor brand). My question of the day is this: Can I use non ademco PIRs (I have two 5890's)? I am in possesion of a Napco GEM-PIR and a Sentrol AP950W that I would like to use with this system. If so does anyone have any information (good or bad) regarding these other two PIRs? I am in the very early stages of preparing to install this system I am trying to study the K5305 instruction manual and cooridinating the parts and pieces I have to construct the best system for my homes layout. I am very much an amatuer at this and when I believe I've learned enough to begin install I will post all the successes and failures I encounter on the way. Thanks

Replaced wire-in smoke alarm with new 120V AC wire-in with battery back up. When circuit breaker turned back on had momentary power to alarm and then nothing, battery functioning.
