Ademco LynxR Panel Issue

Even though my system is disarmed, it is sending a burglar alarm to the monitoring company citing the main motion detector. Has this happened to others? How can it be resolved? The service company doesn't have any ideas except to replace the panel.

Could you possibly have the motion programmed as a 24 hour type zone? Alternately, if the cover is off or the tamper switch spring has gotten loose and the tamper is activated, could they be interpreting the tamper report as a burg. report?

I can't answer those questions but this morning, while the system is still disarmed, we got an FC code. Don't know if that could be a cause or just a coincidence. Will probably replace panel.

FC is failure to communicate. It means that the panel tried to dial out and failed to complete the call.
