Question GE Simon XT - wiring the console

Hi everyone,
I just got my Simon XT but I'm not sure how to wire the AC adapter to it. Can someone please help me out on where the red and black wires attatch on the adapter and also where to attach them on the console? Thank you!

Look on page 30 of your installer manual. It's 9vac, there is no polarity.

Wiring Simon XT

What type of wire is needed to connect the transformer to the panel? It didn't come with any, and I just want to make sure I buy the correct type/guage. Thanks

My preference for power and siren wires is 18-2 stranded. You can go lighter, but I wouldn't go less than 22 gauge.
