ademco 6150 ( first alert) keypad
I wasd trying to change out an older ademco keypad ,that had sticky keys, for a new 6150 keypad. The 6150 is a First alert version of the 6150. When I connected the new keypad I pressed the 1& 3 key to address it but the screen is blank. the keps are lit. Is there a special process to use the first alert keypad or do I have a bad keypad.
I have done this same proceedure for one of the other older keypads and exchanged it for a new 6160. Had to address the 6160, but that all worked ok.
Thamks for your help

Bad news: while the programming is basically the same on the FA version of the Honeywell/Ademco panels, their keypads have some slight differences. FA keypads are not generally interchangeable with standard Ademco.
