Hi, my battery is low and at&t switched me to voip on friday. The trouble beep came on after they left and I entered my code and the beep stopped. Now it continues to beep every ten seconds. I will have the alarm company out tommorrow to service and see if the att tech wired for the alarm correctly. In the mean time I either need to know how to shut the beep off or I will go nuts Any help that I and do with just my code from the keypad would help. I really don'y want to try and disconnect the power in the box the alarm is 11 years old thanks Alan

I just moved into a house with an old monitored ADT system. What a horror story of a company... I do not have a phone hooked up at this house. I do not have the old PIN/Password ADT requires to release any info to this house's account. I do have the Four number code to arm and disarm the system. I want my system to be armed/unarmed/chime just like normal but I do not want it monitored by anyone. I believe that this is "stand alone"? I have put the cover back onto the panel of the system. I have a trouble light that stays on yellow and it starts beeping randomly all times of the day. I called and they said this is probably because of a "failure to communicate with the phone line..." and to push the star key to quite it up for a while.
