DSC Power832 - Trouble Condition 4

We have a DSC – Power832 monitored system. Two days ago our phone line was serviced -outside our house - due to static. The telephone service was probably disrupted for a short period. The control panel trouble light and auditory signal came on,[*] [2] indicated code 4 –“The panel has failed to communicate with the central station”. I silenced the audible signal but he light continues to shine. I assume the light will go out when a test is conducted on the next cycle. It has been over a day and the light continues to shine. Is my assumption correct? Or do I need to do something to reset the trouble indicator?

The easy way: Call your monitoring center, put the account on test, and send something like a panic or just arm the system, and trip the alarm.

Basically the failure to communicate won't clear until the panel successfully communicates.
