superbus 2000 - reset password??

bought a house recently and homeowner never used adt alarm system from there previous owner, so i have this 2 year old ADT alarm system with no code, dc adapter and battery was unhooked, when i hooked them up panel came on and said armed to away, as if its been armed for 2 years, just had no power, after about 30 sec, alarm went off and had to disconnect power again. i read on other forums holding * and # while powering up to enter programming mode but its not working. ive tried several times, wont enter mode and i cant press anything else or else it will ask for password. i know my programmers code is 6321 because it says it in the box, which is a concord. please someone help me reset the password so i can use this.

You can try to disarm with a known duress code: 2580. Enter 1+2580. Once disarmed you should be able to change the master code with the installer code.

 

it worked, thankyou.... but now that worries me, can that same code be used by lets say.... a thief?

the password you gave me worked to disarm system so i can get into menu, now can someone give me a list of source codes, for the superbus 2000? the ones i found on forums are for another system not this one.

 

Superbus 2000 is the keypad model. What is the model of the _alarm control_? There are multiple versions of the concord family that use those keypads.

What's on the diagram on the inside of the system enclosure door.

It's not an "ADT" alarm. It's a GE Concord (of some type) with an ADT logo and minor modifications.

 

still no source code list from anyone? i cant navigate programming menu without them.
