OC alarm code
My neighbor has a safe safe watch 3000en alarm panel. After a storm her system quit working. The keypad says oc. I am trying to to help her fix it. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

OC means that the data communication between the keypad(s) and alarm control is bad.
Power the system down (no, you will lose programming) and try connecting the keypad directly to the system terminals with a short length of known good wire. If the keypad works that way, it means that the problem is wiring between the control and keypad may be bad. If it still doesn't work, then either the keypad is bad or the alam control itself is failed.
Sadly, in this circumstance, my bet is on the failed control.
