DSC Power832 Security System Help

I have a DSC Power832 PC 5015 v2.2 Security System with Memory and Fire lights that will not clear. The ready light is on and no alarms sound but can't clear these two lights. Any suggestions?

The memory light will clear the next time it's armed/disarmed. *72 normally resets fire devices. (per the user manual: DSC - User Manuals)

Do you actually have smoke detectors or heats (wired or wireless) on this system?

It's hard to advise you without knowing what you actually have attached to the system.

Do any of the smokes have the red LED locked on?

If not, simply try powering down the system (AC power and battery) and re-starting (no you will not lose any programming, just reset the clock).

Thanks for the advice I powered down the system both AC and Battery. It cleared the Memory and Fire lights but now my Zone 7 light (for Panic buttons) will not clear and the ready light is now not on. I put fresh batteries in the Panic Buttons and tested the system which sounded the alarm. I then cleared the siren but the Zone 7 light is still on.

Did you press # to exit current alarm display mode?

Ran the test again and cleared it. Now I have the Memoryand Ready lights are the only ones on. I can't figure this system out for the life of me and the user manual is just this side of useless.

DSC manuals are notoriously terse. The information is there, but often, critical info is one sentence buried in a block of text.

The installer manual _must_ be used with the programming worksheets. Either is meaningless without the other to reference.

You have to pretty much scan through the whole thing, cover to cover (repeatedly).

Arm the system, then immediately disarm and the memory light will go away.
