Ademco 6150 keypad only "fake" alarm

I have a new ADT 6150 keypad that I want to install on a shed on my property. I have electricity there so I can power the 12v system. I did this before and the guy at Radio Shack sold me (i think) a resistor to hook up to the data in and out terminals. I just want a potential criminal to think I have an alarm on the shed. My old one had both the ready and armed lights light up from whatever the Radio Shack guy sold me. Thanks!

All I can suggest is to buy one of the resistor variety packs and try different values until it works.

I can tell you how to make these things work properly; fakes are someone else's department.
