Ademco wireless sensors set off alarm when low battery condition.

I have a Power 832 that was installed long ago by a previous owner. I have never had service with it, but I haven't touched the wiring either. Long story short, I became interested in doing some self-monitoring and have tried to get things back up and running. I have the install and master codes. A 5132 wireless unit is present along with two LCD keypads. My current problem is that I don't have any way of identifying exactly what each zone is connected to - there are two wireless door sensors, a fire alarm, a glass break sensor, and a motion detector in the hall. Zones 2-8 are hardwired to various items, so in theory they could be tracked down. Zone 1 does not have a hard wire it it. I assume, but cannot find how to prove, that this is the back door (into garage) sensor that is hardwired into the keypad at the back door. There is another back door into the back yard very close by, which uses one of the wireless sensors. In both cases, my multimeter detects a significant change in resistance when the relevant door is opened - for the keypad, on the two leads running to the sensor, and on the wireless door switch, if I connect it across the external switch pads. So the sensors appear to work, even if signals are not being sent. I am stuck with Zone 1 showing OPEN. Attempting to go into programming to use section 904 to test the device works on other zones but fails immediately on Zone 1 - it gives the normal five beeps when a zone is selected but then for Zone 1 immediately lets out a long sixth beep and returns immediately to the zone selection screen of section 904. I am obviously very reluctant to start programming a device that I had no hand in wiring (i.e., I don't know what anything actually does, and tracing all the wires would be an awful, awful job) without having any idea of what the current settings are, but I can't seem to find any way get the current programming settings. I'd like to know exactly what sensors are hooked to Zone 1 (is it possible for both a wireless and a Keybus-attached sensor to work in the same zone? I assume so, since the Keybus wires are all tied together), and if possible I'd like to be able to interrogate the 5132 to find out exactly what its configuration is as well. I have an Envisalink 3 (working just fine) to let me communicate with the system, as well as the keypads. Suggestions? Questions? Am I doomed to have to sit down and figure out how to reprogram this thing from scratch?

Hey all! First time poster, first time Alarm DIYer. Looking to get some clarification on a few items so please bear with me. My new home came with an existing CPI system that used a GE Concord 4 control panel. CPI confirmed I own all the equipment but would not give me the installer codes so I decided to put in a new system of my own. All the doors and windows have wireless contacts on them marked 60-362. My understanding is these are "crystal" devices and use 319.5Mhz frequency thus allowing me to reuse them with compatible systems. I just ordered a GE Simon XT which I plan on putting inside the old metal box that housed the Concord 4 system (assuming it fits) which resides in a hall closet. I'm hoping the new Simon system will connect easily with my existing door/window contacts as well as an existing wireless glass break sensor (60-873-95) and two existing smoke alarms (60-848-02-95). I also ordered a GE 2-Way Talking Touch Screen Keypad (60-924-RF-TS) to use as my main means of control over the system. Now for the questions: [LIST] [*]Do you see any issues with my logic?
