Ademco 5883H Transceiver and 4229 Zone Expander

Hello,

When you install 5883H Transceiver and 4229 Zone Expander together on the same panel (Vista 21IP) how you should I assign the zones?

I have 4229 and it is zone 9, 10 and 11 wired.

I've installed 5883H and configured 2 wireless glass break sensors on zone 12 and 13 (panel took the config OK).

But I was wondering how does it work if 4229 should be zones 9-16 ?

And how are 5883H zones interpreted ? what zones does it begin and end ?

Thanks

It overlaps any zones from 9+. Just use your hardwired zone numbers then start numbering wireless from the end of that string.

Yes, you should move your wireless to start on 17 in case you ever want to add more to your wired 4229.
