Depends on the system.

On some the system master code is above the installer code.

So if I wanted to program a new keypad, how would I know what code(s) to input to start the process? Also, how would I identify the Installer and/or System Master Code? The keypad in question will be an Ademco/Vista/Honeywell 6140 or 6150 type device. Thank you once again.

The base system model is the important thing. The different Vista models require different settings for the keypads. For _most_ Ademco/Honeywell Vista systems, the installer code is used to set the master user code.
