Concord 4 sensor group question

Concord 4 sensor group question

I want to have a setup that sounds the external siren momentary (1 to 2 seconds) to warn the “bad kid” (or anyone) off whenever the intruder steps into the protected external zone (backyard), senses by an external motion sensor (Bosch Tritech), prevent a break in attempt which would cause damages.

Ideally I would put the motion sensor in this group: silent, active level 3 (away), no CS report, and use Output2 for siren with programmed response number xxx00, where xxx is trigger number. However, Concord 4 does not offer such sensor group, and my best bet is to use sensor group 25. The problem with group 25 is it will trigger by family members since its active level 1,2,3. How to disable it when we are at home and outside the backyard? Change to a “null” partition when at home?

Thank you, GEGUY. I was not sure I could bypass it, since the manual said to arm the system first, then hit # code to bypass, but we would not arm it when outside the yard . From what you said, then bypass works at all level 1,2,3, except fire/heat sensor.

Since it's active 24/7, you don't have to arm first to bypass it...
