DSC 864 indicator LED

Can anybody tell me how to connect a LED indicator lights to the outside of a building so I can see when the alarm is on. The DSC864 panel has two partitions and I want an indicator for each partition.

I am assuming you mean that you have a PC1864 system.

First question: Do you have programming access (installer code)? The wiring is actually fairly simple, but you have to program a PGM output to change states.

You can connect an armed status LED to a PGM output by connecting the + power to Aux power and the - power to the PGM. The problem is that there's no way to define it by partition. It turns on when all partitions are armed, period. There is no way to tell it to look for a specific partition.
