Concord low battery problem

My Concord alarm system keypad is beeping at 2AM every night with the message "Low Battery Problem." The system was installed by a previous owner of the house and I do not have a key to access the control box in the basement. Is there anything I can do to disable this 2AM message?

Typically, the key is tucked under the edge of the enclosure door on top of the cabinet. If not, it's a cheap little lock, and easy to break.

The only real solution for this is to replace the system backup battery; there's no way to turn the function off.

It may take a few hours for the new battery to be registered...
