Older First Alert system, open door beeps not working, keypad unable to disarm

Hello, I have about a 20+yr old First Alert hard wired system, 3 doors, 1 motion. Recently the door beeps stopped working when opening doors, and more recently the keypad got stuck when armed, finally able to un-arm it by trying multiple times. I haven't had monitoring for a few years.
- Does this sound like a keypad problem?
- All (3) open door beeps don't work.

My options:
- Cheap: buy a new FA keypad from Ebay, they have them new.
- Or upgrade to new system like DSC or Vista? They are basically the same size hardwired, 1 keypad systems but can be upgraded to send text alert when alarm sounds.
- Something else?
Not sure what to do, thanks for suggestions.

Those rubber membrane keys on Ademco (and clones like FA) keypads eventually start to fail like that. A replacement keypad will probably do the trick just fine. You may need to address the keypad, but for older alarm models, the default settings out of the box will work just fine.
