Lightbulb Internal Wiring diagram for 1332x10 transformer?

I'm trying to wire in my used Lynxr-I base unit to communicate with some X10 switches in the house. Having no idea, from pictures on the internet it doesn't look like anything incredibly complicated should be going on inside the power unit that supports this function. Also appearing to be able to be disassembled with an ordinary phillips screwdriver, can anyone post pics of the internals so that I may be able to replicate it in my house?

Like all security hardware companies, Honeywell doesn't make the internal circuitry of it's hardware available to installers or end-users. If you can find a schematic, good luck with that, but it seems like a lot of work to avoid buying a $30.00 transformer...

What can I say, I'm cheap. If I can build a circuit for a dollar and save 29, that's three masks extra I kept.
I anticipate it's not too complicated.
