DIY concord 4 install

The ATP 1000 alphanumeric touch pad comes with a number of systems. What would be a good second touch pad.The atp 1000 will be up stairs and need one near front door. The other question is can I install using the atp 1000 or should I use another keypad.

Make sure it's the ATP1000 and not the FTP1000 for programming...(they look almost identical)
If you want to save a few bucks, get the FTP1000 for the secondary keypad...This keypad does not allow full installer programming..

What about the --- 60-804-04 - Concord LCD/VFD Alphanumeric SuperBus Keypad ---. I understand it cost a lot more for second keypad. Would it make install any easier or would the ATP 1000 do the same job. I usually pay more up front but keep items longer.

ATP does the same things as the other...
VFD = Vacuum Flourescent Display...Black background with green characters...easier to read
