Vista 20p with 6150rf - Wireless Sensor issues

Details:
Vista 20p
6160 Keypad
6150rf Keypad

6160 Keypad Address 16
6150rf Keypad Address 17, Receiver Address 00

The 6160 and 6150rf work fine as keypads. I recently added a 5800PIR-RES to utilize the wireless function of the 6150rf. They motion detector is programmed on Zone 17, Zone Type 04, Partition 1, Input Type 3. The problem is while the motion lights up when motion is detected, the alarm isn't activated when in an armed state (I waited 5 minutes).

Is there something else I should be looking at?

Thank you in advance!

It is armed away and I've verified the panel says armed away. I waited a couple minutes before attempting to set off motion.

Are you opening and closing an entry/exit door before the exit delay counts down? If you don't, interior zones are automatically bypassed.

I did open an exit door after arming and prior to the delay counting down. This morning the panel says check 17.

Not sure if related, prior to adding the sensor, I enabled high security mode. Also this is the first wireless sensor in my environment.

That sounds to me like you didn't enroll the motion correctly. What loop number did you set it as?

I used loop 1. Does anything special have to be done with high security mode? I didn't see anything in the manual. The process I used was enrolled it to 6150rf keypad using option 8, then went to 6160 and added it to a zone. Also from what I understand, House ID doesn't apply when using motions and door/window sensors. Is that correct?

Does it matter that I started at zone 17 for wireless devices? I did this because I have a 4229 zone expander that I plan on installing to use zones 9-16.

As a troubleshooting step, I deleted the device from the 6150rf keypad and reenrolled it without issues. However the issue still persists.

Update- Problem resolved.

I was under the assumption that I enroll wireless devices using option 8 on the 6150rf keypad and then went to the 6160 keypad and assigned a zone.

Support informed me all I needed to do was simply add the serial number to a zone on the 6160.

Yup, that was the answer. I had the feeling that you tried to enroll it directly to the 6150RF. That function is really just for keyfobs...
