110v buzzer chime?? Please HELP

Hey friends, not too sure where this belongs, here or in the home automation?? I want to make a simple alarm buzzer for my wood stove. I have a thermostat controller formerly used to turn on heat lamps in a chicken coop...lol. Anyway, I want to set it to power a buzzer or chime to let us know the fire is burning low so we can add wood before it gets too cold. I have been looking and looking and all I can find are 80 to 108 decibel industrial alarm buzzers and most are 12v or 220vac.. Am I searching for the wrong thing? Seems unbelievable that there is nothing I can simply plug into an outlet to make some noise.. Any ideas or suggestions? Even pointing me to another forum category for a solution would be grand. Thanks.

Use a doorbell transformer and buzzer. Simple, cheap, and readily available...
