My alarm system calls my cell pnone, but it won't stop.

I have the Honeywell 20-P.
I am not centrally monitored, but if triggered, my alarm will call my cell phone. The problem is it continues to call my cell phone and I can't stop the calls. Just one call is all I want. Can anyone please help me with this issue?

Thanks.

Your panel is "looking" for a sign off from the alarm monitoring center and until lit receives that sign off it will continue to call up to the maximum programmed trials. You CAN re-program the control to not call a monitoring station at all and then program the pager option to call your cell phone.

Programming manual: http://site.aesecurity.com/Manuals/v...mmingguide.pdf

Installation manual:http://site.aesecurity.com/Manuals/v...stallation.pdf

Delete the phone numbers you have programmed in *41 and *42. Pager programming for what you want to do is programming locations *161 - 163.

I have a Visonic dialer connected to my alarm system so that if dials my cell in event of an alarm. Works great except that I can't stop it from the cell phone. Keeps dialing again, again, etc. very annoying. Sounds like a similar problem.

With the Visonic, it sounds like you simply have it incorrectly configured. Those don't have very many programming settings, so it should be a simple fix.
