Ademco Vista 20 (4150) showing low battery after battery swapped out

Our Ademco Vista 20 (Model 4150) Control Panel is showing "lo battery" on all of our keypads. We have swapped out the battery and it's still showing. I checked the voltage on the battery (12.8 volts). I checked the battery lead wires coming from the panel with the battery detached to see if the charging circuit is working. I read 12.8 volts that fluctuates as I leave the leads on for a few seconds. What can I check next or what can I do to clear the problem?

Welcome to the forums.

Check your 16.5vac transformer input on the alarm board. It should be at least 16.5vac.
Did you install a new battery ?

I don't think there's a fuse for the battery itself.

If the transformer is good and that's a new battery..... then you have a charge problem on the alarm board. I don't think it's a serviceable problem.

Many of the older systems only check the battery once a day. Leave the battery alone for 24 hours (some batteries come partially charged...)
