ADT Safewatch Pro 3000EN /Vista - Moved wireless sensor and now getting a fault

I have an ADT system with a Safewatch Pro 3000EN and what appears to be a Vista 10P keypad

I added a glass panel with a dog door to my sliding patio door, so I needed to move the wireless sensor that was on that sliding door (both parts, the magnet and the battery powered unit.)

During the course of moving them, I took the cover off the battery unit of the sensor, which produced some sort of alarm on the keypad, which my wife disabled with our code.

I'm now getting a fault on the keypad for that sensor, which I can't seem to reset or make go away now matter how close I put the magnet/sensor.

I feel like it might be as simple as resetting something, but I don't see instructions for that in the owners manuals.

Any suggestions.

Many thanks.

Welcome to the forums.

With many alarm systems you need to enter the OFF command again to clear stored faults.
So that would be your code plus OFF again.

If this doesn't work.... make sure the cover is back on the transmitter properly. The unit has a tamper switch that the cover must hit.

Also, make sure the magnet is on the correct side of the sensor. It will work on only one side.
