Hi All,
I tried upgrading the Tuxedo Touch Wifi with the directions provided on the Honeywell web site. I placed the needed files on the SD card (I triple checked the SD card's files), but I think I held down on the Tuxedo Touch Wifi's reset button too long. Anyway, I am now in the state where the Tuxedo's screen is dead, but all 3 lights are lit.
I'm really afraid to reset power to the whole unit, because a search online in other forums tells me that I won't even get those 3 lights back. Unfortunately my search online couldn't find an answer to this question though...
Hitting the reset button on the unit again doesn't do anything. Unfortunately I'm pretty desperate since the unit was so expensive and is not returnable. Is there anything I can do to revive this dead Tuxedo Touch Wifi, if anyone can please help? (ps: At this point, I'm OK with any version of firmware, as long as it works!)
Update:
I'm wonder if the problem is if a "long press" of the reset button wipes the firmware, and if the memory card containing the new firmware must be of some certain type (I'm using a Sandisk 16GB SDHC Class 4 card -- perhaps this card is "too advanced" for the base firmware to read the memory card? Does anyone know if there is a certain "recommended" card type to use?) Note that pictures on this card DID read when using the "full" firmware beforehand.
ps: I did post this elsewhere and haven't received any reply yet
, but if I do receive a response from the other site, I'll certainly post here as well, so to help others on doityourself.com
Thank you so much everyone

Which version of the device do you have? The wrong update file on the wrong model can screw you up: Tuxedo Touch Toolkit from Honeywell - Home

[Solved] Although we were originally afraid to do this, the solution was to power-cycle the master panel from the electric outlet + backup battery. This restarted the Tuxedo, where it booted back up with the older firmware.
As for what caused this issue: We had used a larger-capacity 16GB Sandisk SDHC card that was not "fully" recognized by the Tuxedo.
FYI: Although the firmware was not readable from that larger 16GB card, we were under the impression that the card was accepted by the Tuxedo, because the Tuxedo "WAS" able to successfully view photos from that card via the older firmware.
We later found a 2GB Sandisk SD Card stuck to part of the box, which allowed a flawless upgrade.
