ademco vista 20p low bat rpt

hi all, i have vista 20p low bat display on keypad & i changed new battery,i adjust time/date after 3days low battery rpt not clear on keypad i thing battery defect, i changed another one , week later low battery rpt on keypad still there any help is greatly appreciate

Try entering your code + off. Or try arming and disarming the system.

Also, if the low bat is accompanied by a zone number, and you have wireless transmitters, then it's a transmitter battery.

You do have to do as suggested with the code entry. Vista panels don't automatically clear troubles from the display.

thanks you for your input ,i did all but low bat rpt on keypad still there, i think problem with wire motion detector because when i walk thru motion keypad beep 2 time,can i reprogram this zone thanks in advance

In order to make alterations on the zone types, you need a 6160 (2-line Alpha) keypad to access the programming menus.

You use the *56 programming to change the zone type to an interior zone that doesn't chime.
