Paradox MG5050 programming for outside LED indicator

I have recently installed a new alarm, a Paradox MG5050.
Everything is working well.
I have since then decided to add an outside LED light to my building to indicate the status of the alarm when we are away and need to see if the alarm is active or not.
Can someone wiring and programming of the PGM for the Light?
I have connected the LED to PGM4 (+) and LED (-) to com.
Do I need to add a resistor? I have the resistors that came with the kit. 1.1K Ohm and 2.2k ohm.
I am not sure how to setup the programming for the PGM's.
I want to program the LED to indicate the following:
1. LED on = Alarm is switched on
2. LED off = Alarm is switch off
3. LED flashed = Alarm was triggered by any sensor.

Programming manual:

First, you will need the installer/engineer code: Programming locations 220-221 are the activation/deactivation events for the PGM-1

Basically, you will enter the 2-digit group, the two digit sub-group, and partition for the activation and deactivation conditions. The pulsing behavior is controlled in the options in location 261.

For the resistors, look at the specs for your led kit. The voltage being applied is what determines what size resistor you put in series with the LED. In this case, you will be applying 12VDC.
