Trying to spec out alarm system
I'm working on researching to add an alarm system to my house. The house has some wiring in place for some really old system. I'm hoping to at least use some of the existing wiring.
Desires
Something monitored with hopefully a home owners discount
Ethernet and/or cellular monitoring
Door/Window Sensors
Possibly some motion sensors
Ability to log in from online
Sirens
Fire monitoring
Cameras (can be on a different system)
Growth for home automation, etc.
Something that is unlocked and I'm not tied to any companies
No contracts
Less than 20 bucks monitoring
Panic feature
Zones
Monitoring company
UL listed
insurance discount
Calls Fire dept immediately
Calls police immediately with panic button
Cost effective
I have been looking at something like this, Honeywell LYNX Touch L7000 Wireless Security Systems | GEOARM. I'm not opposed to going with something much cheaper, etc.
Budget is 600, but I am hoping to go cheaper.
I'm willing to wire it up, put up wireless sensors myself, etc.

If you already have hardwired infrastructure in place; the better choice would be to go with the Vista 20p with a 6160RF keypad. You can still use wireless devices where needed/desired, but your cost for protecting the hardwired openings will be far lower than using wireless transmitters.
The system is fairly modular, and you can add the functions as your budget allows.
For the interface, there are a lot of good reviews of the Envisalink module: https://www.google.com/search?q=envi...oe=&gws_rd=ssl
For cameras, stick with a DVR or IP cameras.
