New keypads?

Hello, I have a Vista 20p Version 5.2 installed in my home. Its busted and I would like to replace it with a newer version panel. Will a newer panel work with my existing keypads and sensors? I have 3 FA570KP keypads and would rather not buy new ones if I don't have to. Thoughts?

A v

If they work with the current system, then they will work with the replacement. In general, with Vista 20p panels, changes in version is mostly to turn on support for newer devices. They remain backward compatible.

A V5.2 is pretty recent, so there's nothing to do except program all you your zones from scratch.

Thats what I thought. The installer wants me to buy a new Lynx system, but I just want what I have to work without having to buy a lot of new expensive equipment. They suggested that i would have to buy new keypads with a replacement Vista 20p panel ("...so might as well go with the Lynx..."), but that didn't make sense to me...
